Sharla Hammond is a 22 year old Houston Texas native best be described as a free-spirit, airy, and lively individual who got her early start in painting through the influence of her grandma. She described her paintings as being inspired by people who were interesting to her and had distinctive features; she tries to capture those moments through her paintings by painting them against striking and colorful backgrounds. With such a bright future and intriguing demeanor, Sharla seems to have a positive future ahead of her and continues to improve her art as she completes her education at the University of Houston.

Rolling Stone Publishes First-Ever Latin Music Section in Spanish

Via NYTimes: On November 22nd for the first time in their 45-year history, Rolling Stone Magazine will publish an all Latin Music section complete with secondary magazine covers (pictured: featured rapper Pitbull). Articles will bewritten in English, while all interviews with Spanish-speaking artists are presented without English translations.
